INSIDE OUR POSH CHOCOLAT ARTISAN CHAMPAGNE TRUFFLES
For the second edition of our “Posh Unwrapped” series, we’re excited to dive into one of our favorite original flavors, the Champagne Truffles.
Spring has arrived and Mother’s Day is growing closer. With much to celebrate, we wanted to feature our favorite treat for special occasions. All of our Artisan Truffles are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure quality and provide an unforgettable chocolate experience.
So what goes into creating our unique champagne truffles?
The process begins by heating fresh cream just enough so that we can pour it into our dark chopped chocolate.
Then we let the cream and chocolate sit for some time so the flavors can be combined. We then start whisking the mixture slowly until they make a shiny, silky mixture called ganache.
Adding a drizzle of champagne is where the magic is made. The now champagne ganache is portioned and enrobed in more dark chocolate forming a very delicate thin shell that will protect the truffle and give it an extra texture.
The grand finale comes when each truffle is lightly dusted with confectioners sugar for a balanced flavor and a touch of white
